Unconventional partners for true collaboration

Exploring is part of Evert’s DNA. Today, the inspirer of TrueCollaboration also brings his love for exploration to clients and partners so they can experience how things can be done differently and better.

For many, change is uncomfortable while others seek it out

Evert is one of those people:
N
He was born in Belgium and then lived in Germany for years. His favorite thing to do as a child? Exploring nature in the neighborhood.
N

After his studies, he left for a year to travel the world. When he landed utterly alone at his first destination – Thailand – he felt extatic.

N

Today he lives with his American partner in Brussels, a city that continues to excite and surprise him. He speaks Dutch, French, English, German and Spanish.

Professional adventurer

Evert has also sought adventure professionally. After several years at two international companies, he was awarded the prestigious Prince Albert Fund grant that allowed him to work in the US. There, he developed the business of a Belgian company and immersed himself in innovative ways of working. Once back in Belgium, he briefly ran a startup himself, after which he changed tack.

Working with groups around growth and collaboration had long appealed to him and from then onward captured his full attention. He took numerous coaching, facilitation, and training courses and discovered that group sessions suited him. Clients were enthusiastic and started referring him.

Working with Evert was a great experience. He opened our eyes to a different way of working together which I thought was excellent. The pace and progress we made in a week surprised everyone. Evert’s facilitation skills are absolutely brilliant striking the right balance between challenging and supporting, which helped to keep the group on track and motivated during a challenging sprint.”

Today, Evert continues to explore together with clients, often in uncomfortable, unexplored territory. The goal? To experience how to work differently and better. Together with his team of multilingual senior partners, he offers guidance towards better collaboration from a place of calm, trust and expertise.
